MAZZY Smart is a dedicated application designed to enhance the experience of using the MAZZY robot from XTREM BOTS. Aimed at children up to 8 years old, this app serves as an engaging tool for learning the fundamentals of electronics, robotics, and programming.
MAZZY itself is engineered to introduce young learners to educational robotics. The robot can be easily programmed using an intuitive control panel located on its body or through the capabilities offered by the MAZZY Smart app. The integration of Bluetooth® technology allows for real-time communication with the robot, enabling users to control its movements simply by tilting their mobile devices. This feature adds an interactive layer where MAZZY can dance, express various emotions, and respond to user commands.
The app is structured into four key sections that facilitate exploration through different modes of play:
- DRIVE: This section features two modes: REMOTE, which functions as a traditional remote control, and GYROSCOPE, utilizing the gyroscope of the mobile device to control the robot's movements, expressions, sounds, and music.
- CODING: With visual coding capabilities, children can program sequence orders while the SIMULATOR mode allows them to simulate those programmed sequences.
- BUDDY: This section includes EMOTIONS mode where users can convey feelings to the robot, and DANCE mode which enables impressive robotic choreography.
- GAME: Here, users are tasked with building circuits while leveraging the infrared sensor to detect obstacles. The objective is to guide MAZZY to a designated goal in the shortest time possible.
